ACC conducts Institutional Strategic Planning Workshop

The Abuyog Community College successfully conducted a 3-day Institutional Strategic Planning Workshop (ISPW) held on March 22-24, 2023 at Camp Kawayan Resort Buraeuan Leyte.

Academic council, administrative staff, and student affairs and services coordinators of the college attended the workshop. As part of the training, participants were also assigned to present their pre-planning outputs that included the different parts of the ISPW templates.

To kicked off of the event, a solemn eucharistic celebration was organized with main celebrant Rev. Fr. Xandro Magnifico, Parish Vicar of the Immaculate Conception Parish Burauen, Leyte.

In his opening message, Dr. Clemelle L Montallana emphasized the value of teamwork and interdependence between and amongst college units towards the development and implementation of the strategic roadmap for the next five years.

“Always remember that we are family, we are open, we are focused, and we are a team” Dr. Montallana said.

It was a great privilege for the ACC family to have Prof. Jasper V. Dulosa, M.M Planning Officer-Designate, as the honorable resource speaker. “Determined people working together can do anything, Prof. Dulosa stressed in his talk. He also provided feedback to enhance the outputs presented by the participants.

Together with the support and assistance of Technical Working Group with the overall chairman Dr. Nestor C. Sedanza, dean of College of Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship, the three-day event successfully highlighted the presentations and discussions of the Innovation Framework, SWOT Analysis, Action Plan and Strategic Plans of every college and units.

Moreover, on the third day of the event a ceremonial Signing of Manifesto of Commitments was held to sustain and continue forging the plans to be benefited by the students, and its stakeholders.

Selected participants also shared their impresions on the program as well as their commitment in sustaining their plans.

” If we say team, it means together everyone achieve more.”, Franco Salamanca said in his words of impression to the three-day affair.

The participants were awarded their certificates and Executive Vice-president Asuncion M Villote formally ended the event with her closing remarks.

She also extended her gratitude to the resource speakers and the team behind the success of the event and congratulated all the participants for completing the training and looks forward to seeing how each of them will maximize the learnings they have gained from the training.
