On Monday, September 4, a vibrant and sunny atmosphere welcomes the academic and administrative council together with the new and continuing ACCians with enthusiasm and excitement as this marked the formal opening of classes in Abuyog Community College.

As early as 7:00 am, ACCians gathered at the ACC quadrangle to hold the first flag-raising ceremony, delighted for the kick-off of the academic year 2023-2024.

The said flag-raising ceremony was hosted by the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and was made more symbolic as selected ACC-AFROTC officers nobly carry and hoisted the flag.

Afterwards, Executive Vice-president, Dr. Asuncion M. Villote commended the full force presence of the faculty and students of CCJE. Dr. Villote also introduced the school key officials, faculty and staff present during the event.

Dr. Villote announced as well the schedule of adding and dropping of subjects and the final day of registration in the college. “Welcome back to Abuyog Community College”, Dr. Villote ended her talk.

Moreover, at 9:00 am, the College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CASE) conducted their general assembly and election of League of Teacher Education Students (LOTES) officers at ACC gymnasium with the supervision of Dr. Domer P. Regis, dean of CASE and his teaching personnel.

Students are also reminded to keep updated online as hybrid learning is applied for this semester.
