On October 5, the second day of the Education Days 2023 continues with the Pasundayag: a socio-cultural spectacle, Panutduan: a teaching demo pageant, Digital Art Making Contest, and the Paugnat sa Kusog: Laro ng Lahi at the ACC campus.

Starting the day right, BSED Program head, Dr. Junielito R. Espanto welcomed everyone in attendance and emphasized the real essence of the Education Days.

“Education Days is not merely a celebration. It is a testament to the power of education and the profound impact it has on the individuals and communities,” Dr. Espanto said.

Shortly after his message, the morning festivities started as students cheer on their representatives as they performed in the Pasundayag: a socio-cultural contest which includes the Kundiman: a choral group contest, Kirikisi: a folk-dance contest, and the spoken poetry performing contest.

Simultaneously conducted at the Office of the Vice-president for Academic Affairs, two artistic contenders namely, Joey Cadayong Jr. of English Guild, Joshua Montenegro of MatSci made their way to create an impactful digital art that embodies the theme; “Unified Teacher-Education Students: Breaking Barriers for Sustainable Development”.

In addition, the Panutduan: a teaching demo pageant took place at the Business Incubation Facility. With the contestants namely, Charlotte Dedal from the MatSci Department, Lutchie Poliquit from the EESA, Ma. Fatima Caldejon from the Social Scire, and Steven Mark Parado from the English Guild Organization.

The energy in the campus amps up in the afternoon as the students join in the Paugnat sa Kusog: Laro ng Lahi facilitated by the League of Teacher Education Students officers, with the MatSci Organization gaining most wins, followed by the Social Scire, EESA, and the English Guild respectively.

As the second day comes to its end, it does not only give the students the opportunity to show off their skills and talents, but it also made them glow with cultural pride and academic excellence, highlighting their readiness to face the ever-changing world.
