CASE conducts FS 1, 2 Pre-Deployment Orientation

College of Arts, Sciences and Education( CASE) of Abuyog Community College conducted its Pre-Deployment Orientation on Field Study 1 and 2 on Wednesday October 18, at Abuyog Municipal Gymnasium.
To ensure the smooth flow of the said experiantial learning activity, the event was attended the Pre-service teachers, together with their FS coordinators and the principals from the elementary and secondary cooperating schools
Assuring his commitment to the area of education during his welcome remarks, College President, Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana encouraged students to remain steadfast and do their very best to complete their academic journey.
As the event continue, Dean of College of Arts, Sciences, and Education, Dr. Domer P. Regis enthusiastically acknowledged the resource speakers for their invaluable contributions and expertise making the event more meaningful.
Enlightening the minds of the participants of the various policies and guidelines in the conduct of the their field work were DepEd Leyte Division personnel namely; Education Program Specialist-Designate, Dr. Necia R. Nedruda, and OIC Education Program Specialist, Dr. Gerry B. Ranes.
Moreover, an open forum which was facilitated by Dr. Gerry B. Ranes was organized to answer issues about their readiness for their deployment, and extended FS works during the weekends.
Furthermore, Gabaldon Elementary School Principal Roland A. Matugas ensured students during the forum that they will be mentored by the most seasoned and best cooperating teachers in the school.
Meanwhile, Vice- President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Edita D. Vale, highlighted in her closing message the significance of possesssing the skills and knowledge from their field study which are vital for their future success as professional teachers.
The event concluded with the awarding of certificate to the attendees and a photo opportunity.
In this regard, the orientation aims to convey to everyone that ” theory is not enough” because every job path will call for experience, adaptability, growth, and lessons.
