EG, ACC-LISO to celebrate English Month back-to-back with 89th National Book Week

Aimed at celebrating the richness of English language and literature as well as library information, the English Guild (EG) together with the Abuyog Community College Library and Information Services Office (ACC-LISO) to present this year’s double-up celebration of the English Month and 89th National Book Week with the theme; “Language, Literature, and Library Information in the Reel World of AI and Social Media Influencers”from November 22 to December 1, 2023.
This year’s English Month Celebration back-to-back with the 89th National Book Week center on discussions and activities that will (re) draw the line between language, literature education and library information in the era of artificial intelligence and social media influencers.
In addition, the said event aims to (re) learn how English language and library information plays a pivotal role in adapting to the changing landscape of education, as it remains the global lingua franca and physical resource for AI development and utilization; to engage faculty and students on workshop and academic contests focusing on AI technologies that can be leverage for language and learning improvement; to foster a deeper appreciation for the English language, and Library information; and to provide valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities that AI presents in the realms of language education and library information.
