Dear ACC Visual Artists,
“Spectrum of Imagination: ACC National Arts Month Showcase 2024” is a celebration of boundless creativity, inviting you to embark on a journey into the vibrant world of visual arts and chalk masterpieces. This event promises to be a mesmerizing experience that transcends conventional boundaries, transforming streets into living galleries and showcasing the limitless possibilities of artistic expression.
In celebration of National Arts Month, we invite all talented visual artists within our college community to participate in our upcoming Chalk Art and Visual Arts Exhibit. This event aims to showcase the diverse artistic expressions of our talented community and provide a platform for creativity, collaboration, and celebration of the arts.
Event Name: Chalk Art and Visual Arts Exhibit
Date: February 28-29, 2024
Time: 10:00- 5:00 pm
Venue: ACC Gymnasium
Objective: To celebrate National Arts Month, promote local artists, and engage the community in an appreciation of visual arts.
Nature of Activity:
• Chalk Art Showcase: Homegrown student-artists will create vibrant chalk art pieces on designated spaces at ACC gymnasium This live art creation will be an interactive and engaging experience for both artists and the audience.
• Visual Arts Exhibit: A curated exhibit featuring a diverse range of visual artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces, will be displayed at ACC gymnasium.
Expected Outcomes:
• Provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents.
• Promote community engagement in the arts.
• Raise awareness and appreciation for visual arts within our community.
How to Participate:
1. Interested artists for the visual art exhibit are requested to submit their artwork/s on or before February 28, 2024.
2. For chalk art participants, please indicate your preferred chalk art theme or provide a brief description of your concept.
