Aimed at empowering and ensuring inclusivity and in connection to the national observance of the National Women’s Month, the Abuyog Community College successfully launched its first-ever Empower Run 2024, today March 23 at ACC campus.

Spearheaded by the collective effort of the Community Extension Services Office (CESO), ACC Alumni Association, Sports and Athletics Unit, as well as the Gender and Development Office along with the active involvement of various student-led organizations.

The said fun run has gathered participation from around 600 runners which consisted of students, selected faculty and Abuyognons.

The event sparked enthusiasm to the runners fostering the value of solidarity, healthy lifestyle, and community engagement.

In addition, the event also provides an opportunity to raise funds for charitable causes of the Community Extension Services Office.

As runners laced up their running shoes, they embarked on a journey filled with excitement, purpose, and a shared commitment to make a difference.
