𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝟮.𝟬: 𝗔 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁

On March 25, 2024, Ready, Press, Write 2.0 marked its one-day event with a big-bang workshop activity which drew participation from 100 students from BSED English showcasing their journalistic prowess.
Held at ACC Business Incubation Facility, Speech Laboratory, and THC Publication Office, said event was an enlightening day facilitated by The Honeycomb Campus Media.
The morning began with The Honeycomb Secretariat’s echoing call for registration, which was soon followed by an opening ceremony that established the tone for the day’s educational pursuits.
Alvin V. Advincula, Coordinator of The Honeycomb, set the stage with a warm welcome, while Eloisa Oraya, Vice-President (External) of the English Guild of ACC, extended her support to the event .
Steven Mark Parado, Executive Editor of The Honeycomb, steered the ship with a heartwarming introduction to the day’s agenda, inviting participants to delve into the heart of campus journalism.
Moreover, Jasper Jay Ferrera, Head Photojournalist of The Honeycomb, delivered crucial announcements and reminders, ensuring that no detail was overlooked in this vibrant tapestry of learning.
Throughout the morning, a symphony of simultaneous sessions took shape, each serving as a haven for perfecting a particular skill necessary for working in campus publication.
Led by experienced campus journalists, participants immersed themselves in the art of News Writing with THC News Editor, Jonalyn Eman. They also delved into the intricacies of Photojournalism with Jasper Jay Ferrera, and mastered the fine balance of Copyreading and Headline Writing as well as Science News Writing with Senior Staff Writer, Reana Lynn Ruiz.
Other THC members who shared invaluable knowledge and expertise were Feature Editor, Rogie Beringuel on Feature Writing, Sports Editor, Mitche Ann Cantilang on Sports News Writing, Head Layout Artist, Aubrey Jervoso on Desktop Publishing and Investigative Writing, Opinion Editor, Rodelyn Petere on Opinion Writing and Senior Cartoonist, Rad Eril Bausal on Editorial Cartooning.
Ready, Press, Write 2.0, a dynamic program, ignited the flames of journalistic excellence in every participant, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with possibilities.
