The Communication Media Studies Conference (CMSC) 2024 was held at the St. Paul University Quezon City on October 18-19, 2024, and spearheaded by the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE).

Moreover, the event was a gathering of scholars, educators, and communication professionals nationwide, aimed at fostering meaningful discussions on contemporary language, media, and communication research.

Anchored with the theme “Humanizing Communication Ecology: Locating Values in Communication Education and Media Practice,”

In addition, the event was back-to-back with the student camp dubbed as PACE of the Future where communication students showcased their best practices, projects and programs in the various fields such as journalism, broadcast, advertising and new media.

The participation of ACC’s Language and Literature Unit in the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) Communication and Media Studies Conference (CSMC) marked an important milestone for the college’s commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.

As they return to the institution, it is with a deeper appreciation of their role in advancing language research and ensuring that linguistic diversity continues to be celebrated and preserved.

As ACC looked forward to future conferences, they hope to continue contributing to the national dialogue on language, while also inspiring a new generation of scholars who will carry forward the legacy of linguistic and cultural preservation.
