CCJE, SSC Lead the Charge as ACC Celebrates 45th Anniversary by Rogie Beringuel

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Abuyog Community College recently spearheaded the vibrant 45th Anniversary celebrations of the institution, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history. Their leadership was instrumental in organizing various activities that highlighted both the academic, cultural and athletic aspects of the college community.

Held from October 24 until 25, 2024, the 45th Anniversary celebration was a grand event that showcased the unity, spirit, and resilience of Abuyog Community College.

As the college marked four and a half decades of providing quality education, the CCJE and SSC took charge of organizing various programs that highlighted the institution’s rich history, achievements, and the invaluable contributions of its students and alumni.

The event kicked off with a motorcade along the busy streets of Abuyog town proper and was then followed by a solemn eucharistic mass presided by St. Francis Xavier Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Noel Abrenio at the ACC campus quadrangle.

Afterwards, the opening ceremony included speech from key figure in the institution, none other than the college president, Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana. His reflections spoke of the challenges overcome and the growth of the college over the years, as well as the ongoing commitment to excellence in education.

The CCJE and SSC officers, made sure that the celebration was a reflection of the student body’s creativity and leadership. They led several activities such as a talent shows, academic tilts and sports events. Their efforts in promoting school spirit were evident through vibrant posters, social media campaigns, and lively participation from the students.

As the college continues to evolve, the 45th Anniversary served as a powerful reminder that the work of shaping future leaders never ends, and that the dedication of both students and faculty will continue to propel the college forward in the coming years.
