November 11, 2024- Abuyog Community College (ACC) kicked off its Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week with a symposium on drug awareness organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) at the ACC Evacuation Center.

Said event was aimed at educating students and promoting a drug-free community which featured expert talks and insights from Ms. Grecilda Baloro, Medical Social Worker, and Mr. Christian Paolo Santos, Health Program Officer from DOH-Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (TRC) Dulag.

Students from the BS Entrepreneurship, BS Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education programs attended the event, engaging in discussions on the prevention and control of drug abuse.

The observance will continue until November 15, underscoring ACC’s commitment to raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and supporting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
