ACC Administrative, Academic Council Gears Up for OIQAG Visit, Strengthen Compliance Efforts

Abuyog Community College (ACC) is in full preparation mode as administrative and academic council actively participated in the two-day Workshop on the Preparation of Compliance Documents for the CHED OIQAG Visit held at Haiyan Hotel and Resort Brgy. Bislig Tanauan, Leyte on February 13-14, 2025.

The intensive workshop aims to ensure that ACC meets the quality assurance standards set by the Commission on Higher Education’s Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (CHED-OIQAG).

Held in anticipation of the upcoming CHED-OIQAG evaluation, the workshop provided a platform for administrative and academic leaders to refine institutional documents, align processes with accreditation requirements, and reinforce ACC’s commitment to academic excellence.

Participants engaged in collaborative discussions, best-practice sharing, and meticulous document reviews to solidify the college’s readiness.

In a spirited fusion of regulatory preparation and festive cheer, the second day of ACC’s Workshop on the Preparation of Compliance Documents for the OIQAG Visit kicked off just in time for Valentine’s Day (February 14) at Haiyan Hotel and Resort Brgy Bislig Tanauan, Leyte.

The session brought together ACC academic leaders for a day of dynamic activities designed to boost both team morale and compliance readiness.

The day began with an engaging group icebreaker that set a warm and collaborative tone, allowing attendees to connect on a personal level before diving into the intricacies of compliance documentation.

Energized by the festive atmosphere, participants were quick to break down barriers and form effective teams—a crucial step for the intensive day ahead.

Key presentations on the registrar’s manual and business continuity plan provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the essential documentation required for the upcoming OIQAG visit.

These sessions not only clarified procedural details but also emphasized the importance of maintaining robust continuity strategies, ensuring that ACC remains well-prepared for any eventuality.

Another highlight of the day was the interactive indoor quiz, which combined a test of knowledge with the thrill of competition.

With enticing prizes up for grabs, the quiz not only reinforced the information presented during the two-day workshop.
