Spearheaded by Dr. Marilou B. Peñeda, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, Arts, and Sciences (CTEAS) and Head of the Department of Teacher Education (DTE), alongside Ms. Rochelle T. Cervantes, Teaching Internship Coordinator, the ACC delegation was warmly welcomed by the VSU-Tolosa team in a collaborative exchange of ideas, innovations, and academic best practices on departmental examinations.

Dr. Peñeda expressed optimism that such academic engagements contribute significantly to the enhancement of instruction and evaluation, reinforcing the college’s commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

From exploring VSU Tolosa’s exam preparation protocols to engaging in discussions on test validity and reliability, the benchmarking experience opened doors to innovations that can be adapted to ACC’s own academic landscape.

Indeed, as ACC continues to seek excellence, this visit stands as a testament to its resolve to benchmark not only for comparison but for transformation.
