ACC to Opens Its Doors with the Student’s General Orientation 2025

Abuyog Community College (ACC) will officially welcome its new breed of changemakers with the Students’ General Orientation for the First Semester, A.Y. 2025–2026, slated on July 23–24, 2025 at the ACC Evacuation Center.

This event will gather first-year students, transferees, and returnees from various programs—BEEd, BSEd, BSCrim, BSHM, BSIT, and BSEntrep—for a two-day orientation filled with essential information, inspiration, and institutional pride.

With the theme “Start Strong at ACC: Empowerment, Excellence, and Equity in Higher Education,” the orientation will provide a comprehensive overview of academic expectations, student services, and opportunities that await every ACCian.

The highlight of the orientation will be the presentation on the Free Higher Education Program (RA 10931) and the scholarship opportunities available under UniFAST (Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education).

From understanding admission and retention policies to navigating the student portal, learners will be immersed in topics vital to their academic journey.

Sessions on student discipline, library access, campus life, and support units will ensure that students not only know their rights and responsibilities but also where and how to seek help when needed.

The orientation will also reiterate ACC’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals, as reflected in the program dress code and grooming standards, especially for male students under the BSCrim program.

This year’s Students’ General Orientation is not just a procedural event—it is a heartfelt welcome to a place many now call their second home.
