𝗔𝗖𝗖 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲

Abuyog Community College (ACC) illuminated the town with pride and creativity as it clinched First Place in the National and Government Agencies Category of the Parade of Lights Competition during the LVK Christmas Switch-On Ceremony on December 3, 2025.

The festive evening at the town plaza was nothing short of magical as families, friends, and visitors gathered to witness the grand lighting display, music, and the vibrant holiday atmosphere that enveloped Abuyog.

ACC’s lantern entry stood out for its artistic design, coordinated performance, and strong team spirit, earning the admiration of spectators and judges alike.

A special commendation goes to Mr. Nino Beloy, ACC’s choreographer, whose creativity and leadership played a vital role in the college’s victory.

Additionally, equally deserving of recognition are the ACC faculty and staff who participated in the parade with remarkable energy and unity, adding color and excitement to the town’s Christmas celebration.

In a message from the Office of Municipal Mayor Hon. Lemuel Gin K. Traya official social media, the LVK Christmas Switch-On was described as “a sight to behold,” highlighting the joy of seeing families and children captivated by the dazzling lights.

Mayor Traya also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the LGU team, all parade participants, and every Abuyognon who helped make this year’s switch-on ceremony the most magical yet.

“Let’s carry this festive spirit throughout the holiday season, spreading joy and kindness wherever we go. Together, we make Abuyog a truly special place to call home,” the Mayor shared.
