The spirit of faith and reflection filled the campus as the official launch of the National Bible Month 2026 was held today, January 26, in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 124, s. 2017, which declares the month of January of every year as National Bible Month.
Anchored on the theme โGodโs Word Brings L.I.F.E (Love, Integrity, Faith, Engagement) to Our Hearts and to Our Homes,โ inspired by John 13:34 and Deuteronomy 32:47, the celebration emphasized the enduring relevance of Scripture not merely as a sacred text, but as a living guide that shapes character, relationships, and daily life.
The meaningful activity was spearheaded by the Christian Light Friendship Club, in partnership with the Office of Senator Risa Hontiveros, through its staff Mr. Noel Tolibas, who facilitated the Free Bible Distribution as part of the faithful observance of National Bible Month 2026.
Students were welcomed to receive their free copies at the HM Area, a gesture that underscored the belief that access to Godโs Word should be open, inclusive, and freely given.
Meanwhile, College President Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the event organizers and partners, recognizing their efforts in nurturing spiritual growth and moral grounding within the academic community.
As National Bible Month unfolds, ACC is reminded that Godโs Word is not merely read, it is lived, shared, and carried into every home and heart.
