Healthcare came closer to home as the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) launched its much-anticipated Service Caravan today, February 19, 2026 (Thursday), at the Abuyog Community College evacuation gymnasium.
The success of the caravan is powered not only by PhilHealth personnel but also by the strong partnership between PhilHealth and the Municipality of Abuyog.
Residents, students, faculty, and staff are given convenient access to a wide range of services, including: PhilHealth membership registration, updating of member records and other essential services such as release of Member Data Record (MDR), processing of PhilHealth ID requests for active members, acceptance of PhilHealth contribution payments and registration and processing of the Konsulta/YAKAP Program
All services are delivered efficiently in one accessible location, saving time, transportation costs, and unnecessary hassle for the public.
The caravan aims to remind every resident of the importance of becoming an active PhilHealth member. With proper registration and updated records, families can fully enjoy health benefits and medical assistance when needed.
By bringing services directly to the people, PhilHealth reinforces its mission: healthcare that is accessible, inclusive, and responsive to community needs.
