December 29, 2022- Abuyog Community College- Community and Extension Services Office (ACC-CESO) brings joy and love as they initiated its annual Give-a-Gift Drive to the residents of Brgy. Tuy-a Abuyog, Leyte.

Anchored on the theme, ” Ipaambit ta an Gugma ug Grasya ngadto sa Katilingban” ACC-CESO’s annual Give-a-Gift Drive aimed at giving joy and love to target community especially this season of Christmas and a representation of generosity to our valued community members.

The event was spearheaded by Mrs. Irene Belleza, ACC-CESO coordinator, and with the assistance of selected COHME faculty members, The Honeycomb Campus Media staff, and LOTES officers

In her welcome message, Mrs. Irene Belleza extended her Christmas greetings and hoped that her ACC- CESO team will continue to make efforts in giving back to the community.

Proving that the spirit of Christmas is felt by everyone, selected adults and kids actively participated in the various parlor games such as Hep, Hep, Hurray, Lemon Relay and Paper Dance.

The annual Christmas gift giving activity was a roaring success and made the Christmas season for the residents of the said barangay to become more memorable. Nonetheless, seeing the warm smiles and delighted faces and how thankful they are was one of the precious moments for the ACC-CESO team.

Considered being the country that has the longest Christmas celebration, for Filipinos Christmas is as much about giving as it is about receiving. It’s embedded in our culture as a time when we give to those who are in need.
