𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗦𝗰𝗶 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

February-27-28, 2025- Abuyog Community College came alive with energy and enthusiasm as the Math and Science Organization hosted MathSci Day 2025 with the theme, “F.U.N.G.A.M.E.S: Fueling Understanding and Nurturing Growth Through Amazing Mathematics and Exceptional Science” at ACC campus.

This event gathered students from the organization, divided into three factions, in the two-day filled with intellectual challenges, thrilling games, and collaborative experiences.

The celebration kicked off with a dynamic opening program, setting the stage for a day of learning and fun. The three competing teams showcased their team chants, fostering camaraderie and spirit among participants.

Meanwhile, the MathSci Models Exhibit provided a platform for creativity and innovation, displaying scientific and mathematical concepts in visually engaging ways.

Adding excitement to the event was the Inter-Department Quiz Bee which tested students’ knowledge in various fields of math and science, while the Teaching Demonstration Contest highlighted aspiring math and science educators’ ability to simplify complex topics with engaging presentations.

On the second day, the game of Human Chess brought strategy and critical thinking to life, while the Amazing Race challenged participants with science- and math-related tasks at every checkpoint.

In addition, the team-building games added an element of excitement and cooperation, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration among math and science students.

The day concluded with an Awarding and Closing Ceremony, where winners were recognized for their outstanding performances.

The celebration proved that learning mathematics and science can be both challenging and exciting, competitive, and collaborative—ultimately fueling understanding and nurturing growth.
