In a significant step toward one of lifeโ€™s most anticipated milestones, graduating students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM) convened for the Graduation General Assembly on March 18, 2026, at the evacuation gymnasium.

The assembly served as a vital platform to ensure that all graduands are fully equipped not only academically, but also mentally and financially, as they prepare for the upcoming graduation ceremony.

Setting the tone of inspiration, College President Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana delivered a compelling message anchored on the timeless words of Louis Pasteur: โ€œChance favors the prepared mind.โ€ He emphasized that graduation is not the culmination of their journey, but rather the beginning of greater responsibilities and boundless opportunities awaiting beyond the institutionโ€™s walls.

Ensuring a smooth and engaging flow of the program, host Prof. Ritche Deloria guided the assembly with clarity and enthusiasm. This was followed by the statement of purpose delivered by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Edita D. Vale, who highlighted the importance of aligning students with the expectations, requirements, and processes leading up to graduation.

A comprehensive discussion on graduation policies was presented by Ms. Marlisa Riรฑos, college registrar who meticulously outlined procedures for application and compliance. Her presentation underscored the importance of completing all academic and administrative requirements to avoid last-minute complications, reminding students that preparation remains key to a seamless transition.

Meanwhile, transparency and collective responsibility were emphasized through the presentation of the Graduation Budget Plan by SENCO Treasurer Lorraine C. Superable. The breakdown included projected expenses for stage decorations, togas, food provisions, and refreshments for parents and guests, encouraging unity among graduands in making the ceremony both memorable and well-coordinated.

Adding a heartfelt dimension to the gathering, Prof. Eduardo Raquel Sr., Head of the College of Criminal Justice Education, delivered a message dedicated to BSCRIM students. He underscored the enduring values of discipline, integrity, and accountability, principles that future law enforcers must embody as they step into their professional roles.

As the assembly concluded, an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation filled the venue. Graduands departed not only with clearer expectations, but also with renewed motivation to embrace the final stretch of their academic journey.

With another General Assembly scheduled on March 21, 2026, for BSHM, BSEntrep, BEEd and BSEd students, the institution continues to uphold its commitment to ensuring that every graduating student is fully prepared for this defining moment, where dreams transition into reality.
