With only six days remaining before the opening of LCUAA VIII 2026, Abuyog Community College has formally activated its Incident Command System (ICS), reinforcing operational readiness for the in-house training of over 100 student-athletes and the successful participation of the regional athletic event.

Spearheaded by Hon. Mayor Lemuel Gin K. Traya, ACC Executive Chairman and Local Chief Executive, the coordination meeting brought together coaches, key officials, and frontline units in a unified push toward excellence.
The activation, held at the Business Incubation Facility, signaled not just readiness but precision, discipline, and total commitment.
Guided by Operations Section Chief Prof. Mark Castaรฑas, the initial command briefing laid out strategic operations for the in-house concentration training of over 100 student-athletes, reinforcing preparedness across logistics, safety, medical response, and overall event execution.

From administrative leaders to municipal responders, every unit now stands aligned to deliver not just a competition, but a well-coordinated, high-impact regional sporting event.
