With precision planning and unified coordination taking center stage, Abuyog Community College (ACC) has officially activated its Event Command System (ECS), laying a solid operational foundation for the in-house training of its student-athletes set to begin on April 15.

The whole-day operational planning on April 14 functioned as a central command hub, bringing together key units to align strategies, finalize logistics, and ensure seamless execution of all training-related activities. The initiative underscores ACCโ€™s commitment to discipline, organization, and competitive readiness as it prepares for the LCUAA VIII Ormoc 2026.

The day opened with a comprehensive meeting and attendance check, followed by the formal presentation of ECS core officers and members. This established a clear chain of command, reinforcing accountability and role clarity across all operational teams.

Parallel to this, planning clusters worked on finalizing the activity matrix that will guide the athletesโ€™ in-house training. Critical logistical components, including camp assignments and billeting arrangements were carefully mapped out to guarantee efficient accommodation and athlete welfare throughout the training period.

By afternoon, the focus shifted to documentation and compliance. A coordinated pictorial session for support staff was conducted in collaboration with City College of Ormoc, ensuring standardized identification and proper accreditation protocols ahead of the regional meet.

Operational efficiency was further strengthened through the rollout of a structured documentation system for food distribution. The logistics team introduced food stubs to regulate allocation, minimize discrepancies, and streamline support services during the training.

Adjustments and refinements were carried out in real time. Event Manager Fhaila Donn Soniedo led the consolidation of schedules, while Operations Section Chief Mark Castanas facilitated final clarifications to ensure alignment across teams. Meanwhile, the camp management unit under Dulce Amor Cutura reorganized camp groupings and finalized house rules to maintain discipline and order among athletes.

The day concluded with a close-out meeting, where final adjustments were approved, and the comprehensive in-house training plan was officially locked in for implementation.

Complementing these preparations, a memorandum was issued mandating a temporary shift to online classes, enabling student-athletes to focus on intensive training while maintaining academic continuity through flexible learning.

With systems fully in place and responsibilities clearly defined, ACC demonstrates a proactive and cohesive approach to athletic preparation, proving that behind every strong performance is a well-orchestrated command system.

As the countdown to LCUAA VIII Ormoc 2026 continues, ACC stands ready, not only to compete, but to deliver with discipline, strategy, and institutional pride.
