April 19, 2025- As the much-anticipated 2nd Local Colleges and Universities Athletic AssociationโRegion VIII (LCUAA VIII) 2025 officially launches its Day 1 final preparations, a crucial pillar of the event was set firmly in place with the full activation of the Incident Command System (ICS) at exactly 10:00 AM inside the Ormoc City Central School Library.
Taking the helm of this strategic move was Hon. Lemuel Gin K. Traya, Executive Chairman and Local Chief Executive of Abuyog, whose leadership underscored the commitment to a safe and seamless sporting spectacle.
At the core of the operation, designated Incident Commander Mr. Mark Castaรฑas led the initial command briefing and laying out clear directives, aligning protocols, and ensuring that every unit moves as one cohesive force. From logistics and medical response to security, sanitation, and venue safety, every detail was accounted for.
With over 100 ACC delegates set to compete, this activation marks more than preparation and ensuring their safety every step of the way.
