Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM)
Program Description
The Hospitality Management program are expected to produce graduates who can produce food products and services complying with enterprise standards; apply management skills in F&B service operations; perform and provide full guest cycle services for front office; perform and maintain various housekeeping services to guest and facility operations; plan and implement a risk management program to provide a safe and secure workplace; and provide food and beverage service and manage the operation seamlessly based on industry standards.
Program Goal
Program Educational Objectives
- To help students become more rational thinkers and communicators.
- In order to give the student a solid understanding of the necessary administrative production skills. The upkeep of order, a tidy and appealing look, and a high standard of personal and workplace hygiene.
- To cultivate in students the abilities and character traits that are generally useful and applicable to all facets of professional life
- To develop the abilities necessary for future management positions in a variety of hospitality units, as well as to become aware of the social obligations that a business has to its staff and customers.
Program Outcomes
- To articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice.
- To effectively communicate orally and in writing using English, Filipino, mother tongue language, and an appropriate Foreign language required by the industry.
- To work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams
