Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM)

Program Description

The Hospitality Management program are expected to produce graduates who can produce food products and services complying with enterprise standards; apply management skills in F&B service operations; perform and provide full guest cycle services for front office; perform and maintain various housekeeping services to guest and facility operations; plan and implement a risk management program to provide a safe and secure workplace; and provide food and beverage service and manage the operation seamlessly based on industry standards.

Program Educational Objectives

  1. To help students become more rational thinkers and communicators.
  2. In order to give the student a solid understanding of the necessary administrative production skills. The upkeep of order, a tidy and appealing look, and a high standard of personal and workplace hygiene.
  3. To cultivate in students the abilities and character traits that are generally useful and applicable to all facets of professional life
  4. To develop the abilities necessary for future management positions in a variety of hospitality units, as well as to become aware of the social obligations that a business has to its staff and customers.

Program Outcomes

  1. To articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice.
  2. To effectively communicate orally and in writing using English, Filipino, mother  tongue language, and an appropriate Foreign language required by the industry.
  3. To work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams
  4. To act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
  5. To preserve and promote “ Filipino historical, social, and ethical responsibility.
