First-year students of Abuyog Community College (ACC) gathered on March 4, 2026 at the ACC Evacuation Center for an insightful and engaging forum titled โ€œLove, Sex & Marriage Talk,โ€ organized by the National Service Training Program โ€“ Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTPโ€“CWTS).

The activity aimed to guide freshmen in understanding responsible relationships, family values, and personal decision-making, equipping them with knowledge that supports both their personal growth and social responsibility.

Serving as resource speakers were Dr. Susana Ida, Chief of the Out-Patient Department of Divine Word Hospital alongside with her was Dr. Maria Fe Malinao, former Director of the Department of Agrarian Reform, who shared perspectives on youth awareness, values formation, and the importance of informed choices in relationships.

The session also provided a safe learning space where students could ask questions and gain practical insights about healthy communication, emotional readiness, and family life.

The initiative forms part of NSTPโ€“CWTSโ€™s commitment to shaping socially responsible and values-driven citizens, empowering students to make wise decisions that contribute to healthy communities and future families.
