Before the vibrant festivities of Management Days 2026 unfolded, students of Abuyog Community College first gathered in a solemn Eucharistic celebration today March 30 at ACC grounds.

More than a ceremonial tradition, the mass became a grounding moment for Management students, reminding them that their academic journey extends beyond classroom learning and daily tasks.

Delivering the homily, Rev. Fr. Jose Protacio Catan challenged students with a thought-provoking question: “What is your purpose in enrolling in BSHM or BSEntrep?” The question resonated deeply among attendees, prompting personal reflection on their motivations and long-term aspirations.

Fr. Catan emphasized the importance of direction and discipline, urging students to “plan their work and work their plan.” He highlighted the value of maximizing opportunities, recognizing the sacrifices of parents, and holding firm to the belief that no dream is beyond reach.

“Be smart, be intelligent, be wise. Be a good manager of yourself,” he stressed, underscoring that true leadership begins with self-discipline and integrity.

He further noted that honesty remains the foundation of lasting success, and that admiration naturally follows those who stay true to their principles.

As the celebration concluded, it left a lasting impression on the attendees, reframing Management Days as more than a showcase of talent and achievement. Instead, it stood as a celebration of holistic growth, both personal and spiritual.
