The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers officially released the results of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) on May 12, revealing another remarkable milestone for Abuyog Community College after producing 174 new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs).

The nationwide examination, conducted on March 15, 2026 in at least 41 testing centers across the country, recorded an overall national passing rate of 67.17 percent, with 63,377 passers out of 94,357 examinees.

Based on the official results released by the PRC, 18,376 elementary teachers out of 32,796 examinees successfully passed the examination, equivalent to a 56.03 percent passing rate. Meanwhile, 45,001 secondary teachers out of 61,561 examinees passed the board examination, yielding a 73.10 percent passing rate.

Amid the national results, Abuyog Community College emerged as one of the institutions that exceeded the national performance in both elementary and secondary categories.

The institution proudly produced a total of 174 new LPTs composed of 52 passers in the elementary level and 122 passers in the secondary level.

For the elementary category, ACC registered an impressive institutional passing rate of 81.25 percent, significantly higher than the national passing rate of 56.09 percent. Its first-time examinees also performed exceptionally well with an 88.89 percent passing rate.

In the secondary category, ACC posted a 78.71 percent institutional passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 73.14 percent. First-time takers likewise recorded an outstanding 89.60 percent passing rate.

The achievement reflects the collegeโ€™s continuing commitment to academic excellence, quality teacher education, and effective preparation of aspiring educators for the professional licensure examination.

The March 2026 LEPT results were released after 39 working days following the conduct of the examination.
