Abuyog Community College (ACC) has reached a historic milestone after producing its first-ever topnotchers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), signaling a breakthrough moment in the institutionโ€™s teacher education program.

Leading the achievement is Ms. Deosah Mae Angoring Mendoza, who secured Top 7 in the Secondary Level with an impressive overall rating of 93.80 percent. In the Elementary Level, Ms. Ernyst Chille Risos Mundala ranked Top 3 nationwide with a 94.40 percent rating, while Mr. John Kirby De La Calzada Sigue followed closely as Top 8 with 93.20 percent.

The LET, conducted on March 15, 2026 across at least 40 testing centers nationwide, recorded a national passing rate of 67.17 percent, with 63,377 passers out of 94,357 examinees.

ACC also posted strong institutional performance in the same examination. For the Secondary Level, the college recorded an overall passing rate of 78.71 percent, with first-time takers achieving 89.60 percent and repeaters posting 33.33 percent.

Meanwhile, in the Elementary Level, ACC achieved an overall passing rate of 81.25 percent, with first-time examinees registering 88.89 percent and repeaters obtaining 40 percent.

These results highlight a significant breakthrough for the institution, reflecting its strengthened teacher education training and academic support systems. The achievement also underscores ACCโ€™s growing reputation in producing competent and competitive future educators.
